NYTBR Review of G. Willow Wilson’s novel The Bird King

It was a great honor to get to review G. Willow Wilson’s new novel, The Bird King, for the New York Times Book Review. Wilson is a novelist of great depth and breadth; she makes me laugh and sometimes giggle, while addressing topics of great importance—gender, religion, bias, inequality—without flinching. Also, I love her contributions to Ms. Marvel. I hope you enjoy this review and will go out and read her books.
